United Methodist Women

PURPOSE OF THE UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The Unit meets together as a whole at General Meetings four to five times a year.  We have four circles, who meet monthly, or as noted below.

LOYALTY CIRCLE:  Meets the first Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. in the Church Parlor, except for January or February.  New members are always welcome!

CHARITY CIRCLE:  Meets the first Wednesday of the month  at 7 PM, sometimes in member's homes, but many times in the Church Parlor.  We have varied programming and a lot of laughter and love is shared.  All are welcome.

GOOD SAMARITAN CIRCLE:  Meets at 10 AM on the second Thursday of the month in the Good Samaritan Room in the lower floor of the education wing of the Church.  We sew for others and have a sack lunch together at noon.  Visitors and new members are welcome and needed.

NEW HOPE CIRCLE:   We are a small group who meets at 1 PM in the church parlor on the 3rd Wednesday each month, except for July and August.  Visitors and new members are welcome.
